Filter Clean/Maintenance

You also might want to do this one…

A routine filter clean for a cartridge/DE filter will consist of:

  • Noting of initial filter pressure

  • Filter disassembly

  • Salt cell cleaning if applicable

  • Cleaning of tank halves and drain plug

  • Inspection of filter o-rings

  • Cleaning of grids/cartridges

  • Inspection for any defective grids/cartridges

  • Inspection of manifold

  • Replacement of any defective parts

  • Filter reassembly

  • Recharging of DE filter

  • Noting of final filter pressure

Sand filters do not require filter cleans but do need to be backwashed regularly and the sand must be replaced every 3-5 years.

One-time Clean/Green to Clean

You might need to do this one.

The specifics of a one-time clean will vary based on the condition. The same is true of a green to clean.

The pool will be assessed for its condition and at that point, a recommendation on how to move forward will be made. A one-time clean may require a filter clean, a green-to-clean may require multiple filter cleans. The pool equipment will be inspected for any issues and recommendations for any required repairs will be made.

Why a free quote?

For weekly service, the specifics of the pool such as size and debris-load will determine the base price of service.

For filter cleaning, the cost will vary slightly depending on the type of filter and whether a salt cell is present.

For OTCs and GTCs the condition of the pool will determine the base price of the service.
